first time visiting your blog, I love it!
Where did you pick up your milk kefir grains? I’ve only used water kefir grains. I know the application is quite different, but do you maintain the cultures the same way?
Here’s my moment: http://www.himherandtheirs.com/2011/10/this-moment.html
I picked them up at the Cultures for Health website. They seem to be pretty easy to maintain – just keep them in the fridge with a little milk when you’re not using them.
Embarking on the kefir adventure, are we? I am not quite at that stage where I will make it, but I have been known to grab one while at Whole Foods Market. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
Ours is a daddy’s little girl moment (baby is asleep on his chest)… I actually just sat there and soaked up the sight of this for a really long time… I almost forgot to capture it on film!
