It was a good week but busy overall, lots of working and lots of garden time. It’s really getting in full swing around here. I also moved our baby chicks outside – they’re about 4 weeks old now and the weather’s been mild, so they are doing well with a heat lamp in the carport. They also got the hang of the Avian Aqua Miser in one night, which is great, because I was really tired of rinsing poop and pine shavings out of their waterer, and dumping wet stinky litter every few days.
First of all, here’s a few links of things I found interesting this week (most of these I tweeted):
- Round-Up might be destroying the microbiology of raw dairy and fermented foods.
- Some awesome dogs are stamping out elephant poaching in the Congo.
- Apparently the uproar over “pink slime” is not enough to keep the government from feeding it to our children.
- SimCity is back! One my favorite game franchises of all time, and now even with climate change!
So, I haven’t made a menu plan – just have to run out for milk tonight. Who knows, tomorrow is another day!
