Menu plan-schmenu plan folks; I don’t think it’s going to happen. I’m pretty sure I’m incapable of planning a menu more than about two dinners in advance. I love the idea of setting up a plan and going shopping only once a week, but it seems like 1) I am paralyzed by this many food choices at once and 2) we’re fickle around here on what we want to eat any given day. I think the solution for us is to plan a few meals at a time, put a little back in the freezer every so often, and always have something to pull out and eat on a whim. My goal is to eliminate convenience eating out – aka eating out/takeout that was not planned and only because you didn’t have anything at the house. Hopefully this will do it.
